About
Energy engineer and researcher, founder of Kuma Science

An energy-efficiency engineer and researcher. I founded Kuma Science, which now has my exclusive focus, to fix what West African solar engineering lacks most: dependable data, and the means to use it. Guinea is my pilot ground. Day to day, I build qualified solar-data references and the software that makes them useful, from raw measurement to the field app. I’ve also co-authored two peer-reviewed papers on decarbonizing off-grid communities in northern Canada.
Experience
Since 2025
Founder and engineer, Kuma Science
Conakry, Guinea
Building open, qualified solar-data references for French-speaking West Africa: data infrastructure, sizing tools and a data-qualification method (research, Python processing, AI-assisted development).
2022–2025
Energy-efficiency engineer, Les Résidences Yvelines Essonne
Mantes-la-Jolie, France
Energy audits, oversight of energy-performance and audit contracts, carbon assessments (ClimaWin, project management).
2024
Research assistant, École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)
Montréal, Canada
Collecting and analysing building-operation data in Northern Québec; study of the environmental context and regulatory framework of northern energy policy.
